I have doing this alot this summer...I am wondering how this works in the winter with snow on the ground? My feet will get frost bite
Gracie, I have a foot long metal rod in the ground wrapped with a bare copper wire. It is behind a bush and comes in a window behind a chair. When I feel the desire to ground but the ground is wet or muddy, I wrap the wire around my forearm a few turns and sit there for 10 minutes. I am not sure if it is the same as recieving the grounding through your foot but I am sure it is better than nothing.
