BACK IN THE EARLY '90S MY BROTHER WORKED IN A SHEET METAL SHOP THAT GOT A NEW LASER CUTTER SO THEY DID A TEST BY PUTTING A BOARD UP ACROSS THE ROOM AND AIMING THE LASER AT IT AND ONLY HIT IT WITH A COUPLE OF PULSES WHICH CAUGHT IT ON FIRE SO YES TECHNOLOGY HAS BEEN AROUND FOR A LOT LONGER THAN THAT EVEN.
