What a great hard question.
I once had Jesus come up to me and ask me for all the souls I had gathered for him when I was in my 20's, and I was so happy to see him and hand them over. Then a few moments later Jesus walked up to me and asked for the souls I had gathered and I said I just gave them to you. I pointed at the first Jesus walking away and he turned into Satan.
I leaned then that that is why God is the judge and we are not to 'gather' others unto God, but only witness and share truth because truly on God knows the hearts of another. It was a most humbling moment.
But I agree with VK I can not leave my children.

It's just so hard to know with our limited abilities I think. How deceptive 'Evil' is and if we are truly being as diligent as we can to identify it within ourselves so we can identify it when it comes up to us. Evil/Devil lies and is the master at it and it's our job to be able to identify it and if we can't as it's hard to always identify it then we need to be very humble in knowing our limits and not claim a lie because of ego or any emotion, but to simply accept that we are not perfect and say I do not know...yet, so I will not claim a lie because I know that is Evil and destructive to my eternal self. Love is truly the way. Forgiveness and not carrying negative in your heart and being honest enough with yourself to understand if you are or if you aren't. I do not know what you are struggling with but I have faith that God=Everything and the Angels are there with you. 💗🤗
