I almost went into that line of work at one time. Tested several C/O locations .
I had skills that could have gone one way or another, and I chose the medic side of things when dealing with LE and SWAT while in fire service.
You have seen a side of people that shows what a person does to another when they lack empathy. I am not saying I wouldn't put someone down and living not too far from gang territory I always have my sidearm.
