You get the letter from social security every year. They don’t tell you that if you don’t pay enough you’re not qualified for that year even though you paid into it, it’s ok, I had 4 years out of 31 years that I didn’t qualify. They dinged me 200 bucks, I can handle it

State and federal agencies lie to you about social security. If you’ve put in anywhere 30 years in private sector before you work for state or federal you got a decent check coming. I was only short 4 years and I’m getting what it showed in 21 minus the Medicare payment
