This all feels like some sort of endurance course to see who is really dedicated to the goal of a peaceful and prosperous new society — versus those seeking a cheap win and personal advantage. Reminds me of many arduous treks in the mountains in my 20s, thrashing through bogs and snow in the dark to get back to a car at some roadhead.

Just. Keep. Going.

Ha ha .. yea in the dark too ... makes it all just perfect .. ;)
Once the trumpet player who was likely 50 or so and I were only ones left after the gig as I finished packing up my drums @ 2am in the middle of a winter snowstorm ..... and the car wouldn't start.
So we're out there w/ the hood up trying to do this'n'that (I think we may have had to jump it off w/ his car can't remember) when we looked at each other and w/ ice forming on my mustache and beard and his eyebrows all snow crusty just started laughing at the *serious* absurdity of *the trek* we'd chosen in life ... so, exactly right ... you just keep going!
