Then you already knew how important, if not the most important, having children if able is. I agree Mike Judge completely makes the topic a stereotype spectacle of "Southerners", however the me personally in the North/Big City types the "smart couple" is much more common sadly is the message I got from it as a warning..... PS - I did not make the movie ;)

Yes, Hellywood has portrayed us "southerners" as dumb and ignorant. I believe that "our accent" was used to push their propaganda. So when people hear it, that is what pops up in their mind. I just look at it as that its to our advantage that they underestimate us. If everything hits rock bottom, we will see who can survive. I hate living in a stereotyped world, but it is what it is. I am proud of my roots and am not intimidated by what they deem as "intelligent".

Those truly were the good ol days! Back when Texas of all places, lost electricity after a storm, a woman being interviewed said they were told to boil their water. Her exasperating reply was, "Now, HOW can we boil our water when we don't even have electricity?" I was dumbfounded to say the least.
