The Vatican changed Gods day of rest from Saturday to Sunday. “Nowhere in the Bible do we find that Jesus or the apostles ordered that the Sabbath be changed from Saturday to Sunday. We have the commandment of God given at creation then to Moses to keep holy the Sabbath day, that is, the Seventh day of the week, Saturday. Also, in light of Rev13:15-17 this quote of theirs is especially revealing.

'Of course the Catholic Church claims that the change was her act…And the act is a MARK of her ecclesiastical power and authority in religious matters.'

So when one realizes the reference to the mark 'in the hand' actually symbolizes your 'actions'/'obedience' and in the 'forehead' your truly held 'beliefs' the MARK as it relates to the Sabbath day takes on a whole other dimension from how most people have been led to think about it.

IMO the Mark on the Forehead is to knowingly accept these false directives and obey them . That is when the mind choses the false doctrines of Satan over the Commandments by God. Even the Rightous will go through the Tribulation ,but, will not suffer from the viles poured out by Gods Angels.

But there will be those who actually believe Sunday is the *true* doctrine (like the other commenter here, in spite of clear scripture to the contrary)... others who could care less either way and will simply obey .. go along to get along .. simply to still be able to buy/sell.
