Last Spring my husband & I were watching a hummingbird feed at a flowering plant. It flew toward us at eye level and remained stationary for several seconds. We knew it was connecting with us.
They actually get in your face and talk to you. They do that when I change out feeder or sometimes when i’m just sitting on the porch.
