Why are telling people to take their money out of the bank? That is suggesting they will lose it. Care to explain?

BTW. You can lose money by leaving it in the bank. My 2008-2009 RRSP Statements can prove it. I could’ve bought at least 4 pieces of real estate or much more in gold or silver for what i lost by leaving it in a bank investment.

well if its cash then the buying value is the buying value. Take it out or leave it in, as long as it’s not more than the insured deposit value you’re fine (Personally, I avoid unnecessary insurers, they’re evil) but after that limit you’re screwed. Did you know the delay in depositing a cheque for more than a certain amount ( lets say a 5k cheque) the bank will let you access, say 1.5k, then they have to clear the cheque over 5-10 days. that’s bullshit. Thet know if the cheque is legit immediatley but they keep your $ for days for their own purpose and theyll never give you any of that profit.
That should be common knowledge by now. The issue I take is with someone posting GET OUT OF THE BANKS...BANKS ARE DEAD..., blah blah blah. Stinks big time, imvho.
