"They shall cast their silver in the streets, and their gold shall be removed: their silver and their gold shall not be able to deliver them in the day of the wrath of the LORD: they shall not satisfy their souls, neither fill their bowels: because it is the stumblingblock of their iniquity." Eze7:19
"But the transgressors shall be destroyed together: the end of the wicked shall be cut off.
But the salvation of the righteous [is] of the LORD: [he is] their strength in the time of trouble.
And the LORD shall help them, and deliver them: he shall deliver them from the wicked, and save them, because they trust in him." Ps37:38-40
My response to this verse. At the time their was no paper fake money, only God's money gold and silver.
"Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord" Is1:18;
Do you really think God has, or has any need for, "money"? The streets of heaven we're told are paved with what appears, from the description, to be "gold"
My take away from scripture is that things will get so bad that there won't be anything of *necessity* (ie food/water) TO buy and physical gold/silver "money" (in whatever form) will simply be a burden.
