EU Council decides on sanctions against people who spread "Russian propaganda".
The European Commission defines what constitutes "Russian propaganda": This includes narratives that portray the Kremlin as a victim, defame NATO, or deny the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
They include freezing assets in the EU, a ban on financing by EU citizens or companies, and a ban on entry and transit for natural persons.
