Churches could jump in and change the focus by hosting a safe Fall Festival with fun costumes (nothing dark), some candy, parents donate cookies, cupcakes, apples, oranges, popcorn etc. There could be fun games, prizes, singing, dancing, storytelling etc. Kids would make a decorated Fall bag, then go table to table to get their "treats." This would change the focus from evil and darkness to joy, fun, light, and gratitude.😇
