I took my Grandson out of public school. The only way he would make it if he stayed on the drugs. I'm worried because he can't focus and this is on me. I signed him up for on-line school. Any ideas would be appreciated.

My daughter has home schooled her oldest son since grade one two years ago, she spends two hours a day going through the text books that are required. He's passed every test and home visit and is reading at a grade five level. Concentrate on real life and let them learn without pressure and they excel. I hated school I wish I had never gone, worst experience of my life. As for social life she has all her boys in swim clubs and local playground programs. The kids love it.

Praying for President Donald J Trump & all those souls dedicating themselves to saving the world from those who seek to destroy us.

Be sure to give him breaks in between lessons. Let him go outside and get some fresh air and exercise. Have healthy snacks and drinks on hand. Make learning a pleasant experience. If he wants to fidget let him fidget. If he wants to stand while he reads let him stand. Take him on interesting outings related to what he is learning. God Bless and know you are doing what's best for his needs.

This kid only eats junk food. Will eat bananas and apple sauce and that's about it.
