Really? Let me tell you my experience with mammograms. In 1985, the mammogram craze was in full swing. My doctor urged me to go in to have one. I hesitated but he assured me that it is just to insure I do not have anything to worry about. I had good health insurance so I went in and had the procedure. The result was this: you have a tiny mass the size of a match head that needs further investigation. I was skeptical so I took the film and interpretation to another specialist - a female doctor and asked her to review it. She agreed that I should have a biopsy. I reluctantly agreed (I was 41 years old). I went into the hospital, went through the procedure they required. When I came to in Surgical Recovery, the female doctor who recommended the procedure informed me that they missed the small mass and could go back in. I told her "over my dead body. where are my clothes. I am going home". I am now 80 years old - never had another mammogram and never will. Never had anything wrong either.

I stopped having mammograms 15 years ago when I was put into anxiety because of a finding that turned out to be the technician doing the mammogram improperly. I also believe these mammograms cause cancer as Dr. Mercola explained due to the radiation. No more painful crushing of my breasts which always felt barbaric to me.
It's all about frauding the insurance companies. Especially since you had good insurance.
True Patriot in CA. Donald Trump is my President!!!!
I too had a similar experience in the 80s. Found a lump in each, tiny little things, had to have them surgically removed. Then it was mamos every year until I finally put my foot down on all medical procedures, medicine, Dr. Visits, etc. No more, my body my choice!! 74 years old.

i never went for one or any other test they demanded.. no oscopies for me.
I had one because I found a lump in my breast. I had a mammogram, and they said it was suspicious and I probably had breast cancer. Well, the lump disappeared, and then they decided I just had fibrous breasts. In the meantime, I was trying to find a suitable wife for my husband and a mother for my three kids. I thought, well, it's curtains for me. What an unnecessary month of worrying. I never had another. They probably cause more false positives than any other screening, and the radiation is unsafe.

👽My doctor wanted me to have another mammogram because my sister has breast cancer (living on chemo) - I told the dr "we have different life styles, eat different, live in different states, etc" ...I ended up firing him👽....when I did have a mammogram, I ask the girl 💥"why do you go hide & leave me out here, if it's not safe for you, it's not safe for me".💥 One dr told me, because I refuse all the test he wanted to do, he couldn't be my dr, so I fired him...👀they are learning they don't control me-no one does 👀* life is good

No way to calculate how many women have been duped into the mammogram scenario. Many have been given false positives, spent endless weeks worrying and finally getting a biopsy. Some have even been mis-diagnosed and suffered horrendous surgical removal of their breasts. We will never know actually. This is a scam - big time.
