This tree stump is called
Devil’s Tower in Wyoming.
The texture up close
does resemble that of
a oak tree….petrified.

I spotted one in Arizona while flying home from Vegas two months ago, Urban.

happened prior to land shifting and flooding.

Badlands of South Dakota.
There is also one ironically named
after Theodore Roosevelt in
North Dakota.
I have photographed both extensively.
