BE STILL IN MY PRESENCE, and wait patiently for Me to act. Stillness is a rare commodity in this world. Many people judge themselves and their day by how much they have accomplished. Resting in My Presence is usually not one of those accomplishments. Yet how much blessing can be found in this holy rest!

Peace and Joy abound in My Presence, but it takes time for them to soak into your inner being. It also takes trust. Instead of fussing and fuming when your plans are thwarted, wait patiently for Me to act. You can always watch in hope for Me because I am God your Savior. Be assured that I will hear you. I may not answer as soon as you would like, but I always repsond to your prayers in the best way.

Dont' worry about evil people or fret about their wicked schemes. I laugh at the wicked, for I know their day is coming. Rest in Me, beloved. Be still, and know that I am God.
