My Jesus,
Help me to be joyful always and pray continually. I've learned that the only way I can keep rejoicing is to find moment-by-moment pleasure in my relationship with You--the One who is always with me. This relationship is so full of comfort and encouragement that it's possible to be joyful in hope even when I'm struggling with adversity.
Your Word instructs me to give thanks in all circumstances. I've found it immensely beneficial to pray. "Thank You, Jesus." This three-word prayer is appropriate for all times and circumstances because of Your supreme sacrifice for me--for all who know You as Savior. You've been teaching me to praise You for every good thing as soon as I become aware of it. And I've seen how this practice adds sparkle to my blessings.

When I'm feeling sad or discouraged, it is still a good time to thank You. This brightens my perspective and demonstrates my trust in You. Thanking You in every situation strengthens my relationship with You and increases my Joy.
