& deployed during various events;

Common breeds include German Shepherds

The pups live with their handlers & retire to their handlers.
Every visitor to the White House is screened by a dog.
Every vehicle that enters the White House complex
is searched by a dog.
The dogs have found explosive devices
but that’s never revealed because of OPSEC.
Secret Service dogs are among the top frequent fliers
