These teams are used for explosive detection
& deployed during various events;
Presidential campaigns, inaugurations,
international summits & securing venues.
Common breeds include German Shepherds

WHEREVER THE PRESIDENT GOES,
Secret Service dogs will have cleared the way.
The pups live with their handlers & retire to their handlers.
Every visitor to the White House is screened by a dog.
Every vehicle that enters the White House complex
is searched by a dog.
The dogs have found explosive devices
but that’s never revealed because of OPSEC.
Secret Service dogs are among the top frequent fliers
of the canine world ✈️🐾🕶️

Kat, our K-9 doggie warriors are SO important, and it's WONDERFUL you pay Tribute to them. It's easy to forget or overlook them, even take them for granted, but we shouldn't. 🐕🦺
In my Search & Rescue days (long ago) K-9s were critical for finding lost souls in the wilderness or even souls buried in avalanches. They can do in minutes what takes Rescuers hours or days. We used Bloodhounds and German Shepherds back then. Doggies are great for earthquake/disaster rescue, too.
At Border Patrol/Customs, who finds the illicit drugs? DOGGIES! Bet they're sniffing shipping containers for Trafficked Humans, too!
In our Military, those K-9s save our Warriors' lives repeatedly and provide much needed added security as patrol dogs. Can't hide from them, and Terrorists like Bhagdadi wet their drawers as Hero Dogs attack! 👊💥
In Law Enforcement, they can make the biggest baddest Hombre who's unafraid of guns lie down and beg to be handcuffed. 😂
Life without Doggies would be ROUGH!
