It is heartbreaking to have your children tell you they don't want to deal with your belongings when you die, to get rid of all of it. I'm so broken now. And to do this on Mother's Day, and when I'm now a heart patient. Are they trying to kill me? I made provisions for all my animals and everything else so they don't have to "deal" with it. Tell me how you really feel. This is so sad.

This is a hard thing to hear. After my mother passed away, it was really hard getting rid of many of her belonging. The things i kept were the large red tub, and the mixing bowls. I still am sad she is not here, but when I cook I pull out those bowls. My heart is with you.

I am having everything auctioned off and donated to St Jude Children's hospital in memory of my son who died from Leukemia. They won't have to deal with anything except the one son will take care of my burial. He is the only one I can trust. I changed my beneficiary on my ins. to only him.

But, it was the very least you could do, with everything she had done for you. Through our your life, I'm sure.
My wife had a lot of things that didn't mean a thing to me, but there was a story behind everything she kept.
Same with my mother and father. It wasn't about your comfort, it was about hers...
