I always push the chair in, and look back when entering a building in case someone is behind me, in which case I make sure to hold the door open 😎😁

Ask to be excused, carry your dishes into the kitchen, clear the rest of the table, wipe it down, push your chair in. Then go dry the dishes and put them away. 😉

Yes, I still do this and expect others to as well when they come to my home. All are respectful sound advice.
All of the Apprentice and Celebrity Apprentice are on Prime now. They do two boardroom scenes each episode. People always push in the chairs after, and men pull chairs out for women. It’s great to see the Boss in his business element and everyone loves the guy, of course. That’s why they took these shows down when he was first elected, too positive and lots of people of color liking him.
