I discovered the other day in a fairly long session of conspiracy 'dot connecting' w/ Grok that it seemed not very good at it tending to offhandedly dismiss my inferences (standard issue 'conspiracy theory' responses) but when I doubled down providing more questions and a wider field of data points it seemed to begin to 'get it' and by the time I was done it was producing some very convincing feasible narratives.
It really does come down to asking for more info. I find taking the first one or two replies are vague and rather left influenced

It's like it's been programmed w/ all the standard lefty 'conspiracy theory' responses but when you dismiss them and keep digging like you say it begins to broaden it's perspective

Exactly. I think a certain amount of 'training' is involved via specifics of our questions. It has so much "info" but doesn't know how it all connects. The questioning helps.
