Not so fast on everyone. There are people who don't recognize abuse the way I do. I have called the sheriff on two separate occasions in the past 15 years about something that did not seem about a child. The first time, the officer told me to contact CPS. I tried that and waited on hold for an hour before I finally gave up. Second time the deputy did come out a follow up on my concern. If people want to be a part of this effort and willing to go through some vetting, of course they could be deputized. I wish I could do something more, but at my age, I just do not have that option. Still I do keep my eye on children when I am out and if I see something I will say something.

There will never be a shortage of citizens that would actually volunteer their time to hunt predators. The problem has been with the Injustice system helping the criminals. Once that is fixed, people will be engaged, imvho.
