All income taxes and property taxes paid returned to us would be lovely. Then we could do some long delayed repairs to our home. 😇 👍👍👍👍
If I added up all the taxes I've paid, I'm certain that the state, federal and local governments have made a lot more money on me than I kept for me.

I live in a mostly red region of a blue state....Delaware. For the first time I think in 25 years, our property taxes are going to go up...and it looks like, way up. They will be due later this year. Not good.

Perhaps look ahead find out if there are any official property tax remedies for you- sometimes depending on income, you may be able to get a break.
People in my dark blue state have been moving out for a long time now.
Property taxes are one of the main reasons.
They can't afford to hold onto their homes.
