He may be a satanist but giving the University of Texas Hook Em Horns sign doesn't mean a thing. They are Texans. For that matter go to any heavy metal concert and thousands of people will be giving the horns sign which was made popular by Ronnie James Dio who claimed his Italian grandmother taught him the gesture, which she used to ward off the evil eye, or malocchio in Italian. Dio began using the gesture after joining Black Sabbath in 1979. He said he became well known for using it, and that it became a symbol of rock 'n' roll. Some things are not what they appear.....just sayin.

Yes, let's muddy-up all the meanings of the symbols. Water them down so much, we don't know who's flashing what symbol to advocate for whom. Isn't that how evil works. Is it love, rock n roll, hook 'em horns or Satan? We don't know. Didn't we just come off of one of the biggest balls of confusion ever....is it Santa, Satan, winter solstice or Jesus's birthday? We don't know. One of us is celebrating one thing while the rest of us is celebrating something else. That's the point. There were a heck of a lot of people celebrating who-knows-what.
