Thinking about doing just that. Front door broken at work, and has been for 3 weeks. Won't close on it's own after customer comes in. To top it off, now no functioning heating system. It was 14 degrees last night. Kept myself warm by running back and forth closing the door. You'd think someone who was handed a business by their parents could at least keep it maintained. Nope. Just comes in to empty the coins out of the machines and leaves. His Parents would be livid if they knew. They have built and owned that business for 30 years. Sad to watch. Time for a new job.

It must be that way everywhere.

I work for a large corporation who refuses to let the heat go above 60 degrees in the building...and that's if they decide to turn the heat on at all, even now with temps in the teens to low twenties.

They refuse to spend any money on anything until it breaks, and then they take their good old time getting it repaired because God forbid they have to spend a few bucks 🙄🙄🙄

I think you're right Mike. Not making excuses for it, but I think people are unsure of how to proceed with their investments. I chose to work at my current place of employment because it was a "Mom & Pop" type of business. My previous employment of many years was private duty home health care. Helping people stay in their own homes as they age. I did that work for 20 yrs. But when covid came along, I was considered unemployable because I wouldn't take or give the jabs. I took a 50 percent cut in pay to go to my current job. Don't know what's next, but God's in charge and I'm not worried. He's always right on time.
