Was thinking about what you said..yes there is evil...TERRIBLE EVIL!
Then I think about someone I knew who others didn't understand why I would bother with him.
Scripture says "Blessed are the pure in heart for they shall see God." I discovered in NOT buying into what other's thought God showed me a different side of that person. It was like Christ allowed me to see the goodness not just the other stuff. A friend told me he looked different when I was there. I don't know?
Eventually we went different ways...and yes he did lie about me...I knew it was untrue...
It was curious...I have wondered back then what really happened.. I find when the Holy Spirit (spirit of Christ) is at work it does NOT reflect in the reactions of others...they are most often really ugly.
I believe it was an assignment...God was at work in both of us "To will and do of His great glory."
Maybe in eternity I will know WHY.
