Sorry to hear of your brain injury, I had an uncle who hit a cow in upstate NY and his struggle was utterly heart wrenching.

As for the TBI it is very humbling...have had it since 23...was a passenger on TN border during ice storm. Am blessed to be alive.
Lost my career as a result...HOWEVER feel like living on less has allowed me to walk away when my gut said to when others stay because of the money. One tool I have learned is to deal with what is since I can't turn back time. Letting others know of the TBI gives insight. Some are kind others are not...I learn much of who is safe.

maybe this is the piece I offer...I came from a crazy torturous life threatening home..it has taken a long time to put the piece back together...as far as I have.
You mentioned Assange's home and different pieces might not be in his awareness. There are tell tale signs I have had pop through that helped me connect disassociated parts. I suspect that is a gift from God to find wholeness again...Forgiveness...has been the key. And there have been layers of forgiveness...sadly it is a life long process..but alternative is not being authentic which to me feels like a lie.
