Have a feeder comprised of an old wrought iron plant stand, 3, 5 gallon buckets topped w/casserole dish. In the middle of the dish is a bowl, actually 2 bowls glued together on the bottoms which props it up a wee bit. The whole thing stands about 48" high.
The nuts ring the bowl which is filled w/shelled peanuts and bird seed. I can refill it at least 4 times in a day.
This is my third season and it has been my pleasure to watch the little guys put on mass.
The most satisfying thing I've done that I can recall. Huh, who knew?👆

Can move it about the yard and once I had it up close to the picture window I watch through. That's when I saw one blink for the 1st time.
In any hour of the day bluejays, cardinals, woodpeckers and too many tiny birds will coexist with the squirrels. I don't buy cheap shit and they are worth every penny.
