I hope your friend is reading this right now. Thank you for all the children, women and men you saved from that hell and gave them back their lives. I believe those that depend on dogs should get a puppy about 6 or 7 years, because unfortunately, a dogs lifespan doesn’t match a humans. That would prevent the total loss when the 1st one passes.
