The truth can be told with words.
Some will not understand; they have to be shown. You have the intelligence to understand, and can understand reading and hearing about others' experiences, but many do not. Many have lived in a self-contained bubble most of their lives, and have to be shown. It is their choice, and everyones' choice, whether or not to look.
