We lost my sister in a blizzard coming home from school one time. We found her but decided that the next time we had to walk home in a blizzard we would use my brother's belt as a rope to keep us together. Those were the days. We had to wear skirts to Catholic school in that kind of weather. 😬😂

My sister had to dress in skirts & walk 6 bocks to where the bus would pick her up. Being 5 years younger...I was picked up at my house. God has always protected me. We still had to wear skirts/dresses to school.😄

We had a few days off almost every year, because I lived in a village in the woods and when it snowed a lot, no car could get to us. It looked so beautiful outside, I still have those nice memories inside me and feelings.

I live beside a school in a small community (all within walking distance) and the parents will drive their children to school 🤦‍♀️
