Lord our God, our Father in heaven, bless us who have become united in our hope in you and in our expectation of your help on this earth, where people live in all kinds of foolish ways. Bless your Word within us. Grant us your Holy Spirit to restore life and gladness to our hearts, even in grief and suffering. Grant this not only in the distress of the whole world, but also in our own lives as long as we remain on this earth. Let signs be seen on every hand that you help us and give us a strength we can rely on. You help us in all circumstances every day, every year, ever anew. For this we thank you and praise your name. I heard a loud voice proclaiming from the throne: “Now at last God has his dwelling among men! He will dwell among them & they shall be his people, & God himself will be with them. He will wipe every tear from their eyes; there shall be an end to death, & to mourning & crying & pain; for the old order has passed away!” Revelation 21:3–4👣

Lord our God, Continually renew your grace & your power in our lives, that we may have light even in dark & distressing times & through the Savior may overcome as we wait faithfully for your kingdom. Help us to be ready to take anything upon ourselves, to serve you with body & soul, with all we have. May we belong to the hosts of those who go to meet you, who wait for your coming kingdom, which will bring comfort to the world & to all people who now suffer & grieve. O Lord our God, have mercy on our world. Grant that with thanks & praise we may soon see the signs of the fulfillment of your promises. Amen👣

The Lord is a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble. Those who know your name trust in you, for you, Lord, have never forsaken those who seek you. Psalm 9:9–10💎

Lord our God, we look to you in our many needs, in the distress of our hearts, in the anguish of the whole world. We beseech you, let light come to your people everywhere on earth to bring them your help and your victory. Remember the wretched, the sick, the poor. Let your living strength come to them so that they can bear their sufferings and hold out joyfully to the end. Remember us all, O Lord our God, for we all need you. We are weak and poor and cannot go forward alone. Your Spirit must help us. May the Savior come to us, and may his grace and his power be born in our hearts. Amen💎

Lord our God, even in the great distress on earth, we wait in longing for your day to come, for the pangs of death to pass, so that your kingdom may arise & the reign of Jesus Christ may spread over the whole world in power and glory. May your promise be fulfilled & your will be done on earth. May there always be people who believe & who pray in faith, Come, Lord God. Humankind does not understand how to live. Send us Jesus Christ, the Savior, Lord, & Judge of the dead & the living. Put an end to sin & death!” We thank you for giving us this faith & for letting us pray at all times, “Come, Lord Jesus. Lord our God, we come seeking to find community with you and ask you to keep us in your truth throughout all that occupies us in our daily lives. Keep us from growing confused about truths we have already found through the witness of your Spirit in our hearts. Keep us in your truth so that we can hold firmly to our course on earth under the many hardships and burdens that try to drag us down. Help us to remain steady and to find the path that goes straight ahead, leading us on and on to your final goal💚

Dear Father in heaven, we thank you for this day and for the protection you have given us. Grant that we may find our joy in your grace and in your love. Help us to become truer followers of Jesus, who came in your love. Be merciful to us and help all those who belong to you. You know them all and the thoughts of their hearts. You know their struggle on earth and the temptations that surround them. Help each one, also those who are still far away from you. Give them hearts open to your Word and to all you have promised. We entrust ourselves to your care this night. Help us and bless us. May your will be done in all things, also in the midst of all the sin and misery in the world. Lord our God, we thank you for revealing your rulership, which is for the good of each of us. Each one of us will become what we ought to be when our faith is united with your divine power. Protect this faith in us through every temptation and through all we have yet to endure in this earthly life. Free us again and again for one thing alone, that your kingdom may come into being within us and around us, to the praise and glory of the everlasting truth you have given us in Jesus Christ💚

Lord our God and our Father, we thank you for giving us the Holy Spirit, who binds us to you. Give us continually afresh something of this Spirit so that we can go forward with light shining on the paths we must follow on earth. Grant us your Spirit, grant that light may break into our whole life and we can rejoice because we experience so much of what you are doing. For through the power of your Spirit you can help us toward your future and all that is to come, that we may live not only in time but in eternity⭐️

May it be given to us to help that your kingdom may come closer and closer, that your will may be done, and Jesus Christ, your Son, may be recognized as the light of the world for the salvation of all people and their deliverance from all evil. Lord our God, we plead with you to come to us earthly & often tormented people. May your kingdom at last be revealed & everything change for the better. May we always honor your name above all others, for you are our Father & we want to hold fast to your grace that lets us call you Father. In our troubled times we want to have enduring faith that you can bring a new time when good shall at last emerge from all the distress. Grant that every broken & needy person may experience your help, grace, & salvation, & may know that these always surround us, if only our eyes are open to see & recognize them. So we want to thank and praise you at all times, & at last know the joy of eternity, to your glory and honor. Amen💐

Our hearts leap up with joy in you and in your deeds. Grant that we may be faithful to the end, victorious in all things through your Spirit, who helps and blesses us on our way. For no matter how many promises God has made, they are “Yes” in Christ. & so through him the “Amen” is spoken by us to the glory of God. Now it is God who makes both us & you stand firm in Christ. He anointed us, set his seal of ownership on us, & put his Spirit in our hearts as a deposit, guaranteeing what is to come. 2 Corinthians 1:20-22💕

Lord our God, we gather in your presence. We rejoice before you, for your promise is sure & your works will be revealed to the glory of your name. Grant us steadfast faith in the grace of Jesus Christ. Grant us faith to hold firm, & in spite of all evil to trust that you are ruling & will set everything right. Lord our God, our Father, we cry to you. As the deer pants for refreshing water, so in our time our souls cry out to you, “Our Father in heaven, may your name be honored. May your kingdom come. It is not that the Lord is slow in fulfilling his promise, as some suppose, but that he is very patient with you, because it is not his will for any to be lost, but for all to come to repentance. 2 Peter 3:9💗

Dear Father in heaven, we thank you with all our hearts that you have given us your living promise. We thank you that again and again our faith can receive a clearer vision through this promise. For you have promised that at last the greatest day of all will come, will conquer the whole world, and bring salvation to all people to the glory of your name as Father throughout all nations. Strengthen us in every way, especially when we are in need and distress. Strengthen the sick and those who are tempted. May they wait in expectation for fulfillment of the promise, and may they see help come. May your name, Lord God, be honored among us. May your kingdom come and your will be done on earth as in heaven. Amen💗
