Recently I fell on slippery stone stairs in the garden. My shin bone was very painful. I have comfrey growing so we took leaves, steamed them a bit, wrapped the leg and put plastic wrap around to hold the leaves against the leg. Kept it on overnight. No pain the next morning. Remarkable healing.
