Good Morning VK. Beautiful job, the dog looks real. Needle felting, bought the needles and have them around here somewhere, have piles of wool, just haven't gotten around to doing it... yet!

Me either. Good to gave craft projects during these crazy times. I have not tried quilting but have been a knitter for 40 yrs & have felted some. Just don’t poke urself with that super sharp needle. Just a couple of my multiple knit projects. It relaxes me. Show ur quilt when done!

I've been knitting almost that long too, it's relaxing.... lately it's been mostly scarves and hats. A project from a few years ago, use to love knitting cardigans but don't seem to wear them often... really hardly ever go anywhere to wear them! The skirt was a fun knit too. Let me know if you need any wool, I have a PILE of it. Do some spinning too and ended up buying way too much.

Beautiful!!! Knitting souls❤️ I have never spun, would probably put me to sleep. My husband laughs at me when I buy more yarn, whatcha gunna do with that he says🤣 I tell him the same thing he does with all the guns he buys🤣🤣🤣 I do scarves, hats, shawls with beads, mittens, baby thing wtc. We have a new yarn shop here next to a whiskey distillery and a hardware store, what more do ya need lol. Can’t wait to meet so we can share our projects. I too have waaaaay too much yarn. Better to be a yarn collector than a drunk😉

Lucky you, the local yarn shop here closed years ago. And you summed up spinning pretty good, it's not all that exciting. fun doing different fibers but have pretty much tried them all plus some... bison for a friend, and wolf shedding, won't do those again. My husband is that way with animals, I never know what he's going to bring home, some of them are fiber producers too... like I need more, last purchase was camels.

If you plan on doing any needle felting please don't buy any wool, I will send you some, free, I've been trying to figure out what to do with it all. Years ago I went to a garage sale, the woman had died and her husband was getting rid of her stuff, we had a little Ford Ranger with a topper on, I came home with a spinning wheel and so much fiber we smooshed into the back of the truck and hurried to shut the topper before it pushed it out, plus had to put some in the back seat.

Last spinning project, some wool and silk spun to make it interesting.

Very nice. Great story! I"m a yarn-aholic 🤣 I enjoy watching spinners, but never had the desire to do it. I've felted some but not a lot. I probably have as much yarn as you too & about 10 projects going at once...get bored so have to try somethin new.
