Nana is not sure of that nor am I sure of the definition of Alchemist.
I mean part of what they do is use herbs to heal and I would interpret that as being why God put the plants here and told us we have everything here we need to sustain these bodies.
Now have also seen some that use it for witchcraft and vodo but isn't that the same for everything on this planet, anything can be used for good or it can be used for bad.
