I need some female advice/help. And or anyone in the medical field.
I will be 50 in Jan. Perimenopausal since 2016. I have a hemoglobin of 7.8. Iron is 12. It was 8.4 3 weeks ago. I have severe bleeding- sometimes lasting 30-40 days.
I met with a gynecological surgeon yesterday. I do not want a hysterectomy nor am I a candidate
I had open heart surgery in 2016 for an aortic aneurysm and currently have an aortic root aneurysm that measures 4.65. The surgeon told me yesterday that if I were to need a second emergency open heart surgery that with my anemia this bad that I would not be able to handle surgery and would die. Her biggest concern is getting my iron up. And bleeding to stop.
They want me to do iron infusions and get an IUD
I have horrible reactions to most "drugs" and take nothing. Not an ibuprofen. Not even natural etc. I'm afraid to try beef liver pills.
I dont do chemicals, no deodorant, only natural shampoos cleaners etc
I am terrified to get an IUD
I need help

r u on blood thinners due to previous surgery ..vit k will most likely stop the bleeding (had a guy who was on thinners because of cardiac issues was bleeding from a ca prostate for 2 weeks docs doing nothing vit k stopped it .they still insist he takes thinners but bleeding stopped now since using chlorine diox ..i know not relevant to u) .if u can find a bioresonance practicioner they would be able to advise and possibly give energetic imprints to strengthen weakness.

I'll definitely keep you in my prayers!! If I were you, I would stay away from a foreign object in my body, seems to me it would cause more trauma than healing. Don't be afraid to take the beef liver pills... I have a condition that causes allergic reactions to nearly anything, MCAD, and my Mast Cells attacked my thyroid so I had to take Synthyroid, but I even had a reaction to that. My Mast Cell specialist recommended bovine thyroid supplements, which I, too, was afraid of. It took me a long time, but I finally agreed to try them, and I have have had great results. I think you should try the Beef liver supplements, AND so many great suggestions here, like using cast iron. I'm praying for you, AND praying for the MedBeds to become available ASAP!!! Love and Prayers!❤️🙏🙏🙏

I just wanted to add that I was also going to suggest Dr. Northrup and Dr. Lee as sites for you to consider researching. It is really important to stop the bleeding which is leading to low iron levels. Progesterone is the balancing hormone to estrogen, so if your progesterone levels are too low, you will experience estrogen dominance such as severe bleeding among other symptoms. An IUD with synthetic estrogen or synthetic progesterone (which acts like estrogen as our bodies don't recognize it) will only increase your estrogen dominance and make your symptoms worse. Consider a saliva test rather than a blood test to assess hormone levels. A saliva test is a more accurate reflection of hormone levels as it shows the hormones actively delivered to receptor sites in the body rather than the circulating amounts.
You can order the saliva testing kits online as most allopathic doctors use blood testing. You will get the lab results back that you can take to your doctor

i work in ob/gyn . Has ur doctor told u about an endometrial ablation??

In response Starz4stripes Lmm to her Publication

She doesnt think this is the best route for me. She thinks that with my anxiety and adneomyosis this is the best option for me. She is the 4th gynecologist that I've seen since 2018. The others wanted me to go on the mini pill. None of them will even consider an ablation

Not a doctor just know a lot about nutrition, and I am developing lines of products that focus on different issues.
While doing research for my new product line, came across PURPLE Sweet Potato Powder... Prevents clots regulates your blood look into it in depth this may just be the thing to add to your diet. I will keep looking for some mixes of veggies that really give you the true Iron supplement you need. Red Maca, Lions mane, or Ashwagandha help regulate menstrual and menopausal issues/

Make your own beef liver pills by soyrcing organic, grass fed beef, slicing it, raw, into swalloable pills and freeze them down them like you would a pill while still frozen. Dark green leafy vegetables, steamed or sauteed JUST enough to BRIGHTEN them are very high in iron. IRON has an absorption pathway, and it is VITAMIN C. Liposomal is the easiest on the body and can be made at home with a blender to save money. ALWAYS take your iron with vitamin C. So with your, say, Kale salad, have a glass of orange or grapefruit juice, or a cup of rosehip tea.

Add blood building teas to your life. There are so many herbs to help build the blood!

I AM NOT A DOCTOR. NOT MEDICAL ADVICE. I will say though, I have done all of the above for my health.

Menopause doesn't exist in Japanese women because they have adequate amounts of iodine through their diet (seaweed). Clive de Carle talks about this alot. I take 5 drops of Lugol's iodine every day and am menopause symptom free (aged 50) apart from the 3-week-long periods. Clive de Carle has his own channel on Odysee but in this clip he talks about iodine for menopause: https://odysee.com/@adrianr:8/soundbite-ep_247_4-clive-de-carle-iodine:6 Hope that helps

I have been going through menopause, I to wad bleeding some 6/7 years ago pretty bad, I wad constantly anaemic, my female GP suggested a progestarone Merino coil be fitted to help with the terrible bleeding I was having, it was causing me to feel disgustingly dirty, had to sleep on towels, & had to wear dark clothing, towelling & bedding, it helped enormously, it stopped my periods, I also started using something called a Ladycare menopause magnet to help with other side effects, no mess but you do have to wear on your underwear all the time, except for showering or bathing, its reuseable, cleanable & available at your local pharmacy

This is kind of drastic advice but would you comsider going full carnivore to see if it alleviates some if not all of your problems? Research it first, Joe Rogan has a few great programs on it. Ive done it for a few months in the past and so many problems cleared up. its drastic for sure but it won’t hurt you and would surely help with the anemia.❤️❤️❤️

You can try with oral iron to stay ahead of the blood loss with Ferrous sulfate, Ferrous gluconate or Ferrous fumarate all sold OTC. If pelvic US shows uterine fibroids which can be extensive and not amenable to cautery then surgery is still an option because this is not another open heart procedure. Granted it is a big operation but they can always give several units of blood to get your hemoglobin up a little prior to a surgery. The aneurysm is likely stable so not a contraindication for an elective procedure however obtaining a cardiac clearance might be necessary but doable. Trying to stay ahead of this may be too much of a quality of life issue with hormones, iron, vit C and avoidance of platelet inhibitors like aspirin and NSAIDS and removing the IUD. Being in Medicine for quite some time i try to avoid pushing people for surgeries but this may be needed and not too difficult with the right GYN and cardiologist to coordinate this for you. I pray for you and wish you well!

My daughter had very long bleeding periods also, & became anemic. She took 'Iron - ferrous sulfate' regularly to help with that & also regulate bleeding. Also higher doses of Vit C help with blood capillaries & bleeding. Read up on both & be well before any surgery

Years ago, I met a man who owned the company that made nanoparticles for human consumption for healing different conditions. I took his silver nanoparticles which helped me.
Then, I gave a friend a bottle of his platinum nanoparticles for her to try to get rid of her fibroid tumors. It did work for her.
I don't understand the idea of using an IUD but I'm not a doctor.
Prayers that you find the quickest, easiest and least invasive, most successful solution.
