I'm confused on how this is 'possed to work. Let's say, SCOTUS actually acts and rules, in favor of the case...does that immediately put Trump back in? If so, how? If he's indicted, how does the become President? Who is President, if anyone? Military?? I'm so lost on all of this.

Hard to say. If you go by OSavin, Military may say the 2020 election was rigged but they needed to allow Biden into office to continue a silent war footing, but they kept Trump as COC. So maybe Trump remains COC while new elections are held.

Well on possible scenerio is that Trump never conceded and some believe that because of that he would still be President until the military can set up for first elections to fill the Congress and then new Pres, election.
You need congress in place to propertly certify any new president so they would have to come first.
Many also believe as do I that Trump has been the Commander In Chief already most of this time appointed by the good part of the military now in charge.
If SCOTUS removes them for violating their oaths of office they are done, no one to appeal to. Biden and Kamala are also removed.
If SCOTUS rules as the suit says they would all then be referred to the DOJ for possible prosecution for treason.

SCOTUS just holds this over the head of Congress to prevent them from reducing the power of the Supreme Court during this lame duck session until the Republicans take office in Jan.
