I am a little worried at how willing everyone seems to trust AI (artificial intelligence).

AI is NOT the friend of humanity.

I am happy for anyone to explain why I should not be worried.

I'm pretty sure we saw that movie about skynet and AI machines and know it didn't work out so well for humans.
