This story about climate predictions ranging from global warming to cooling reminds me of the self-proclaimed economists on YouTube finance. These guys make a video at the beginning of the year where they announce a big crash, then publish another saying the market will explode during the current year, and at the end of the year, they release the video with the correct prediction to tell you they were right.
When you see that meteorologists can be off by 5 degrees between the temperature announced the day before and the actual one, it is quite ambitious to predict the climate decades ahead.
