MY MESSENGER WILL PREPARE MY WAY

Only two more days until Christmas. Who is God calling to be His messenger today? Is it me, is it you? Maybe it's both of us. We are now on our twenty-third day of Advent, our season of preparation to receive our King once again as we also prepare for Him to come again. It's easier to get ready to celebrate Christmas than to prepare the way for Christ to come again. Scripture tells us we know not the day nor the hour. We don't know when He will come again in glory and we don't know when He will come for us as individuals. I don't worry so much about the end of the world as my end, but I do think it's important to help people realize that this is not our final home, that we can't wait until we're old before we clean up our act and turn to God.

December 22nd,

Come to Me, and rest in My Presence. As you ponder the majestic mystery of the Incarnation, relax in My everlasting arms. I am the only Person who was ever sired by the Holy Spirit. This is beyond your understanding. Instead of trying to comprehend My Incarnation intellectually, learn from the example of the wise men. They followed the leading of a spectacular star, then fell down in humble worship when they found Me.

Praise and worship are the best responses to the wonder of My Being. Sing praises to My holy Name. Gaze at Me in silent adoration. Look for a star or guidance in your own life, and be willing to follow wherever I lead. I am the Light from on high that dawns upon you, to guide your feet into the way of Peace.
