I didn't try to burn the snow here in south Texas, but it wouldn't compact normally to make a snow ball.

We used to have an old diesel truck that we ran on discarded cooking oil. It smelled like french fries and fried chicken everywhere we went. Ran cooking oil in a tractor also, but it didn't work so well in the tractor. The new diesel engines are crap. You cannot alternate fuel any more.
