I hear you and agree. I see people abusing the system and not doing anything to change themselves. There is a well known anon who plays the PTSD card often, but still smokes pot and drinks. To me, that shows he is not willing to do the work to change. I am not disparaging people who smoke, but I am saying there is a whole other level of overcoming and not staying stuck in the problem.

The process I have used is by going back in my memories (all of them) and play them through to see what they meant. I also then tell myself, "that was important at the time, but does not have power on me now". Much of the feelings attached to the memories lessons to the point that they are just that... Memories.
This is something I learned or God taught me once I started to grow and mature in the last 7 years.
