The 40k simple view of NLP
Bandler was a Heretic and was attacked for what he was teaching. He was a computer programmer who studied a three letter ex-nazi called Ericson. This was the guy responsible for all the brainwashing in the 50's. Him and a linguistic guy named Grinder interpreted how the brainwashing worked. Modern Geniuses like Malcolm Gladwell have proposed that the brain works like a cpu analyzing data and responding to the data in a sequential fashion. NLP says an electrical event (present moment conscious awareness) burns pathways into the fat effectively programming your personality, shadow self, etc. In other words, this is the horse, not the cart. So, when a trauma event occurs the burn-in is deeper and includes more memory, 6 senses worth, and can contain something a simple as a breeze on the skin you feel walking outside. When today that person feels that event (the breeze) the consciousness goes to that pathway and the whole compartmented event is repla

replayed. The more the shock of the trauma the deeper the senses of the event are recorded. Feelings, visual, auditory, are all re-created in the recording due to the initial effect.
IE: Person does not like flying. Panics when near plane. Hypnosis regression brings fear back to child watching tv and seeing plane crash and reaction of people in household.
IE: Person does not like black cars. Regression shows event where during a split second of realization before impact that car that hit you was black.
These are simple examples but illustrate the programming.
The Trauma becomes so deeply recorded that a trigger today will access those memories in a way that feels as if it actually happening now.
The good news is that the "recording" is not permanent and can be overwritten. The memory will not be erased but the additional feelings and triggers can be erased by regressing to the memory and "remembering" it differently. The brain can not tell the difference between then and now and w

will overwrite the associated data which is the trigger problem.
NLP is like the "free energy" secret that the brainwashers don't want you to know and the so-called non-science of psychology doesn't recognize as changing all the fundamentals of looking at human behavior.

Bandler was quite the Heretic.

This is typical Bandler, talking to psychologists who paid 25k to see him tell them their science was FOS. He laughed at that all he time.

Thank you for taking the time, I will definitely dig more into this.
The process I have used is by going back in my memories (all of them) and play them through to see what they meant. I also then tell myself, "that was important at the time, but does not have power on me now". Much of the feelings attached to the memories lessons to the point that they are just that... Memories.
This is something I learned or God taught me once I started to grow and mature in the last 7 years.
Thank you Dwayne, this will help.

what you described is the same as what NLP does. You are overwriting the memory in a way the memory is still there but the associated feelings are overwritten with your modern perspective on it. This effectively removes associated Triggers caused by association with something you are doing now.

ie: feeling scared gets replaced with feeling neutral or curiosity

The fear of flying example during regression was replaced with something funny being associated with the original memory. When the person now went flying the feeling was one of laughter. The memory and the event still there but the brain was triggering a different response.

Anytime brother, you ain't heavy, dm me.

Something I used on myself and taught others I'll share.
When remembering the "event", take yourself outside your body, step outside and view the event as if you were actually there but just observing in non-physical form.
Try to talk to yourself and tell yourself that everything will work out, you will be fine. Imagine you can hear yourself and is thankful.

I call this being the Angel you never had.
