Actually, I get what Charlie said about empathy-sympathy. Sympathy is when you have sad feelings about a person's situation. Empathy is when you say you can relate to a person's situation and therefore give them special treatment because of their situation.

Agree. At least 2 people they brought in for questioning claimed to have been the shooter but then were released. Wouldn't their statements be considered obstruction? Clearly, they were made to allow the real shooter time to get away.

At a bare minimum, the DL at least showed that we were tested on our driving ability and we had a minimum knowledge of a state's driving laws. I know it's no guarantee that we are good drivers, but to let anyone without any driving knowledge is pretty scary. Insurance will skyrocket even more due to many more accidents because they didn't know they couldn't drive on the other side of the street into traffic.
