It's my birthday today this was waiting in my Hotel room which was nice of the hotel staff

This fountain was built by the ventions but enjoyed by the Ottomans who refused to let Christians have water unless they paid a tax so many left the city. At night the gates were locked to all. Only when the city fell back Greek control that freedom was restored history repeats
