A barge carrying petroleum products owned and operated by Martin Petroleum crashed into a bridge in Galveston, Texas. 🚨🚨🚨

The crash has caused an OIL LEAK, of an unknown amount. The barge was carrying over 30,000 gallons when it crashed.

Pelican Island was rendered inaccessible by vehicle as a result.

So far, NO injuries have been reported but there has been some power outages along Pelican Island. The spill has closed a 6.5 mile long stretch of Intercostal Waterway.
