Small town, older heat pump (just had the compressor replaced, old house, and we have the overall house heat at 64 but have also a side radiator heater running in one room as well, but when it gets really low we also have to heat the pipes under the house Overall, many reasons!!! Before the new air compressor, last year and year before it got to over $1200 in Jan and then Feb last year and year before. Found out it was running mostly on emergency heat for the precious years. So in essence we are actually saving this year, although still too high! 💛
