Thank you! People need to understand the glory of being a republic. We are not a democracy. I wish people would stop saying it but I guess they really mean a constitutional republic they just don't know what they're saying. There is also the electoral college that can and often does makes an important influence in elections, when done without cheating that is. Where the amount of people are represented by votes. It has something to do with Congressional districts. It was explained to me once but it's important when it comes to the difference between a democracy and a republic. Being a republic is much better because our forefathers knew there would be a majority that were often followers and not understanding what was best for the country. The constitution does that for us. Thank GOd!
